Dear Editor,
Please forgive my ignorance of the term “terrorism” Can you explain which of the undermentioned incident/s will be classified as terrorism?
- The slaughter of innocent Guyanese citizens at Lusignan, Lindo Creek and Bartica; incidentally the perpetrators of the Lusignan massacre were defended in court by the AFC Nigel Hughes. Isn’t this aiding terrorists and hypocrisy by the leader of the AFC?
- The daily attacks on persons and their property on ECD, Linden and Agricola when insurgents supported by the former Commissioner of Police, now member of parliament, and the lawyers of AFC who sought to create several diversions.
- The daily robberies committed against innocent citizens, where they are threatened by guns, knives, beaten and sometimes raped. Then to add insult to injury, when these criminals are caught, they are readily defended by the lawyers of AFC and APNU.
Can we equate the above with statements made by the A.G., most of which are true and consider them both as terrorism?
Please clarify.

which is worst, that which you have mentioned above or the situation with the AG and the reporter at kaieteur news, noting in your review that that media house lost some members in a previous attack. after hearing the tape the DPP claim there is no evidence to proceed with. my take is that the AG was aware that the case was weak, but instead of accepting blame chooses to discredit Nigel.
Just check the elections pattern over 45 yrs. The opposition always use violence to intimidate and kill and its just before any elections. Its a pattern . know your history don’t be an accomplice. Speak the truth. The top criminals are former security services personnel who engage in the terror for political gains. The govt is not perfect, yes there needs to be changes but not at the expense of the innocent lives. All lives matter .Rather than being divisive, stand up for the truth and what is right . Build bridges, don’t burn them .

This is allowed to continued by the inept management by the incompetent Home Affairs Minister Rohee who the PPP/C government refuses to fire for incompetence. This is what you called PPP/C state sponsored terrorism. The Nandall Issue highlights it even further that the PPP/C government is state sponsored terrorist group.
