[www.inewsguyana.com] – ‘Lady Secret’ won her first meet of the year by taking the featured event on Sunday at the Budhan Memorial Turf Club one day horse race meet.
‘Lady Secret’ who was trailing for most of the race made her move on the final turn, piloted by jockey Colin Ross to win the top prize of $130,000. ‘Little’ finished ahead of ‘Red Jet’ while ‘Sunny Silence’ took fourth place.
Meanwhile, ‘Its My Time’ won two races, carting off $140,000 in prize money for both K Class races.
In other results from the one day meet, Magnum won the L1 race with Map Head and Sudden Star finishing in that order while Sophia’s Choice took the L2 race with Brown Boy, This Day and Forgiven Kid bring up the rears.
