Purandeo Ramdeo pleaded guilty to the offence before Magistrate Ann McLennan. The Court heard that on November 23 at Campbellville, Georgetown, he broke and entered the storeroom of Joy Thomas and stole one 50 pound gas cylinder valued $15,000.
Police Prosecutor Dinero Jones told the Court that the virtual complainant (VC) lives in a two storey building and would usually store gas cylinders and other items in the lower flat.
The Court heard that around 14:30 hrs on the day question, Ramdeo was caught stealing the item. Ramdeo was unrepresented during his Court appearance.
