[www.inewsguyana.com] – Kerry Nero of La Penitence Georgetown, was ordered to post $150,000 bail on a break and enter charge.
He pleaded not guilty to the offence, which alleged that on Wednesday, May 14 in Georgetown, he broke and entered the home of Brian Banwarie with intent to steal.
Police Prosecutor, Bharat Mangru told the Court that on the night in question, the Virtual Complainant (VC) secured his home by the means provided and went to bed with one of his window semi locked.
Later, he woke up to a loud noise and made checks around him house, when he saw the defendant escaping through a window; he gave chase and caught him.The Prosecutor did not object to bail and the labourer will return to Court on June 6.
