A knife wielding teen who allegedly attacked and robbed two persons in Georgetown was earlier today (Wednesday), slapped with the said charges at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
Eighteen-year-old Samuel Forde denied the allegations put to him by senior Magistrate, Fabayo Azore.
It is being alleged that while being in the company of others, and being armed, he robbed Sarah Brown of her handbag and cash valuing $58,000.
He is also being charged for robbing Nicholas Brown of his cell phone valued at $98,000 on the same day at the same location.
Bail was objected to by Police Prosecutor, Thornhill as a result of the nature and gravity of the offence; however same was granted by Magistrate Azore in the sum of $100,000.
Forde is scheduled to make his second appearance on September 26 2018.
