[www.inewsguyana.com] – After the second annual Martial Arts Examination was concluded on September 27 at the Black Cobra Karate Club in Parfaite Harmony, four students were promoted to first Dan Black Belt.
Sheena Jacobus, Krishna Jacobus, Portia Schepmyer and Calvin Ramcharran were the students promoted to the esteemed level in karate.
The Guyana Mixed Martial Arts Karate Association (GMMAKA) was proud of their students and their dedication to the craft. All students were promoted to higher levels at the examination.
Jonior Adonis was promoted to Green Belt and Zafar Ramnarine was promoted to 3rd Kyu Brown.
Moving to Yellow Belt were Nathan Samaroo, Brandon Denobrga, Nikita Ghanie, Kian Koodralli, Sachin Singh, Deonarine Brandon Dindial, Jonathon Sookall, Jushua Sookall, Shiloh Sydney, Mondal Marques, Nicholas Ramkisson, Jarrar Ramnarine, Priyanka Deolall, Somesh Banasa and Brandon Deolal.
Sayad Bacchus, Mark Ramotar and Jessica Persaud were promoted to Orange Belt while Toshan Jamuna was promoted to Blue Belt.
