[www.inewsguyana.com] – Euleen Josiah-Tanner is in tremendous form as she continues to rack up win after win, her latest on Sunday at the Skidaway Island Marathon in the USA.
Josiah-Tanner was the first athlete to cross the finish line out of 165 participants, clocking a time of 3:80:55s, while, Josh Merry finished second in 3:22:15s and Alan Fischer capped third place in 3:24:34s.
Josiah-Tanner was thankful for the win despite a few hiccups during the grueling 24-mile run, “despite strong winds and stomach cramps from mile 10 to the finish, I was able to finish strong through the grace of God.
“My goals were to run a fast marathon and win… I accomplished one goal which was winning the marathon and I just want to say thanks to all my supporters,” Josiah-Tanner stated.
The win has qualified Josiah-Tanner for the highly popular Boston Marathon in 2016.
