[www.inewsguyana.com] – International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Pro athlete Jeff ‘Classic’ Beckham is the guest poser for the 2014 edition of the Malta Supreme Hugh Ross Classic.
According to a release from the organizing committee, the builder who is over 6 feet tall and weighs over 280 pounds is expected to be on the stage come March 29.
Chairman of the Committee, Hugh Ross says that Beckham will not only be in the capacity of a body builder but will also try to advise the locals on the sport.
The 32-year-old who was Musclemania Pro would have faced Ross in numerous challenges in the past and became an IFBB Pro after winning the overall title at the NPC’s NY Team Universe in 2012.
The male categories for the HRC classic include are Bantamweight – up to 65kgs (143lbs), Lightweight – up to 70kgs (144-154lbs), Welterweight – up to 75kgs (155-165lbs), Light Middleweight – up to 80kgs (166-176lbs), Heavyweight (176 and over).
The overall winners would then go into competition against each other for the crown of Mr Hugh Ross Classic 2014.
There will also be three categories for women, the Female Bodybuilding, Miss Figure the Miss Bikini contest. The event is set for the National Cultural Centre.
