[www.inewsguyana.com] – Staffers at both the Cheddi Jagan International Airport and Caribbean Airlines have confirmed that former President Bharrat Jagdeo returned from Miami, Florida on Wednesday evening (February 26).
Mr. Jagdeo returned on the daily scheduled Caribbean Airlines flight from Miami to Georgetown via Port of Spain.
The former President was discharged from a Miami health facility earlier this week and had indicated his eagerness to return home.
He suffered an acute bout of dengue and had to be flown out of Guyana at the advise of medical experts. Airport staffers told iNews that the former President seems in good spirit.
