The Ministry of Home Affairs is concerned about an incident during a police operation at Dartmouth, Essequibo Coast which resulted in the death of Mr. Orin Boston.
The Ministry wishes to advise that the circumstances leading to and resulting in the loss of life would be thoroughly and independently.
investigated. There are now reports of blockages of bridges and disorderly behaviour at Dartmouth on the Essequibo Coast Road.
Those persons who are involved in protests are asked to cease and desist in preventing the flow of traffic and to co-operate in allowing peaceful restoration of order while the investigations are underway.
