Jamaica Tallawahs stars Kumar Sangakkara, Rovman Powell, Chadwick Walton and Coach Paul Nixon conducted a coaching clinic, in association with the International Cricket Council, for 150 children in Central Broward Stadium, Lauderhill, Florida on Friday morning to preview the ground-breaking Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) leg of matches which starts next Thursday, 28 July when Guyana Amazon Warriors face Barbados Tridents (7pm).
In addition, Hero CPL CEO Damien O’Donohoe was joined by City of Lauderhill Mayor Richard J. Kaplan, Broward County Commissioner Dale V.C. Holness to discuss the opportunities for growth of West Indies and American cricket.
The Ticket Office at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center, located next to the Central Broward Stadium, is selling tickets from Monday to Friday (10am-5pm) and on Saturday (12 – 4pm) to enable fans to physically buy tickets in advance of the biggest party in sport this summer.
