Police, acting on information received, went to an abandoned house at West Watooka Hilltop, Linden about 20:30h on Wednesday night and conducted a search during which they found two hand grenades.
The grenades were wrapped in a blue tent bag and concealed in the roof. Police said no one has been arrested. Investigations are in progress.
