Julia started writing poems at the age of eight and participated in impromptu speaking and elocution competitions in high school. In 2003 she earned a distinction in Literature at CXC and was awarded Best Literary Student. By 2008 she graduated from the University of Guyana with a Bachelor of Arts and has been lecturing English there since. Terry K. is now writing her second novel titled Dream Guy.
