[www.inewsguyana.com] – Andre Hetsberger, a Guyana Times/Television Guyana (TVG) Cameraman accused of engaging in sexual activity with a 13-year-old female family member was granted $300,000 bail by Magistrate Fabayo Azore on Wednesday, January 28.
Hetsberger was not required to plead to two counts of sexual activity of a child family member since the charges were indictable.
It is alleged that on October 12, 2014 at Camp Street, Werk-en-Rust, Georgetown, he engaged in sexual activity with a child family member. The Court heard that the sexual activity occurred again two days later (October 15).
The Cameraman was granted $150,000 bail on each charge. Hetsberger is set to appear before the Chief Magistrate on February 02.
