[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Guyana Junior Jaguars last evening lost their final Caribbean Football Union (CFU) U-17 qualifying game to Dominica Republic 3-0.
If the Junior Jaguars had won the match, they would have topped the group and qualify for the CFU games.
The game was a must win one for the Junior Jaguars after Barbados beat Antigua 2-0; Barbados ended the group with 7 points with 2 wins and 1 draw, Guyana and Dominica Republic ended with 4 points (1 win and 1 draw) but Guyana gad to fall to 3rd position because of goal difference.
The winner of the group, Barbados is now through to the next stage of the competition.
