The meet will take place at the Port Mourant Turf Club with the feature race classified for horses in the D1 category over 1600 metres, with the winner bagging $1.5M and trophy.
Organisers have put together an impressive nine-race programme for the meet with chief organiser, Chattergoon Ramnauth revealing that the all systems are in place.
Most of the big names are set to be on show for what is expected to be a competitive day of racing.
The other events on the day’s card are the co-feature event for Three-year-old horses, bred and born in Guyana and the West Indies with a winning purse of $1M and trophy over 1600 metres.
Then will be an event for Two -year-old for West Indies bred animals for a top money of $600,000 and trophy over 1200 metres, the E Class race will be a 1500m affair with the animals running for a winning purse of $600,000 and trophy, just to name a few.
