[www.inewsguyana.com] – Today marks the beginning of the implementation of a number of plans by the Tourism Ministries of Guyana and Argentina, as they work to develop and promote tourism in the South American continent.
Tourism Minister (ag), Irfaan Ali said Guyana sought to gain expertise and guidance from Argentina since it is the number one tourism destination in South America and number two in Latin America.
Meanwhile, Argentina’s Ambassador to Guyana Luis Martino believes that this cooperation will open doors for major development in the tourism sector.
This is the first of three phases for the cooperation agreement and will entail FAM trips, trade show exchange and participation, human capacity training, Spanish language training, student and culture exchange and tour packages. [Tracey Khan – Drakes]
