[www.inewsguyana.com] – At about 12:00h today, Friday September 26, 63 – year – old Gopaul Bridgenandan, of Eastern ½ Dundee, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara, was in his business premises at his home when two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun entered the business.
According to a police report, the men held Bridgenandan, assaulted him to his head, and took away a quantity of gold jewellery valued $6M, US$1,100 and G$780.
Police noted that the men discharged three rounds in the air and escaped in awaiting motor car. Investigations are in progress.
