A spanking new Guyana Telephone Telegraph (GTT) office opened its doors today in the heart of the City at the corners of Camp and Robb Streets.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company Justin Nedd was on hand to cut the blue ribbon, officially opening the company’s modern re-branded Retail Customer Experience Store.
In a press release the company noted that the store opening is another of GTT’s fulfillment of its promise to “Do More” for its customers by making it easier to do business. This is the fourth such store which the company has opened since late 2015.
Speaking to a packed store, CEO, Nedd said that “the company offers prices that are better than the competition and GTT customers can expect even more beneficial surprises in the coming months”.
He highlighted that the furniture and much of the other fixtures in the store were local manufactured which he quipped was GTT’s demonstrated show of support for the local manufacturing industry.
Customers who purchased a Smartphone at the location cashed in on getting another Smartphone free, plus one month free data and a gift.
There were several other attractions such as the free distribution of umbrellas, cups and other items to customers who spun a wheel, while members of the media were given one week free data on their cell phones.
Customers can buy any of GTT services at the location and also pay their landline and DSL bills.
