As preparations continue for Guyana’s Jubilee Independence celebrations programme, telephone giant, GTT handed over a $2M cheque to the GuyExPo 2016 Committee today.
The telephone company, in demonstrating its support for this historic feat for Guyana, made the presentation of the cheque at the National Exhibition Centre, Sophia, Georgetown.
Chairperson of the GuyExpo Committee, Dawn Holder, expressed great satisfaction at GTT’s continued support.
The telephone giant’s sponsorship of GuyExpo comes two weeks after the company also presented $1M to the Public Telecommunication and Tourism Ministry in support of the Guyana Festival Fashion Extravaganza.
“As a company, GTT is pleased to contribute in a major and demonstrative way to the national and significant celebration in the country’s history”, GTT’s Marketing Director, Daniel Jilesen stated.
He also indicated that his company will be participating as an exhibitor and that visitors can look forward to very exciting offers.
Meanwhile, GTT promises to announce several new initiatives in the weeks to come.
