[www.inewsguyana.com] – Children and Adults are being called on by the Guyana Tennis Association (GTA) to join in the World Tennis Day Observances on Sunday, March 2.
The Body will be joining their international counterparts in celebrating the Second edition of the event and will collaborate with 60 ITF member nations.
They have scheduled activities for children aged 5 to 14 years old 9:00am to 11:30am at the National Racquet Centre. The sessions will be both on and off the courts.
Meanwhile, in an attempt to promote healthy living, the body has also scheduled activities for the adults from 13:00 to 16:00.
Interested persons are asked to come out and enjoy the sport and at the same time get acquainted with the sport’s clubs and programs.
The association celebrated the event last year at the National Racquet Centre at Camp and Woodford Avenue with over 50 children.
