GPF top brass benefits from public relations training

A number of police ranks comprising Divisional Commanders, Divisional Media Relations Officers and staff of the Police Public Relations Department benefitted from a Public Relations Seminar which was recently conducted by Public Communications Consultant Mr. Christopher Nascimento in continued efforts to assist the Police Force.

According to a press release issued by the GPF, the seminar, which had the aim of enhancing the knowledge and capability of the ranks in the field of Public Relations, included topics such as understanding the role of the media, planning and conducting a press conference and planning a public relations programme.

The seminar was held at the Police Officers’ Training Centre at Eve Leary and was organised following a meeting between the Commissioner of Police Mr. Seelall Persaud, DSM, and members of the Private Sector Commission.

    The only training they need to break them from the Kit and Kit mentality.
    When thats done they will see that all Guyanese of all race color creed religion are paying their fat wages to protect all.
