[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Guyana Golden Jaguars in spite of its relatively very short time together as a team was able to draw with Dominica on Wednesday, September 03 in the Caribbean Cup qualifiers being held in St Kitts.
The Golden Jaguars, which played their last game in 2012, was able to push the pace of the ball squandering a number of opportunities that left the Dominicans a bit dazed.
With both teams playing to a nil all draw at the end of full time, both countries will take one point each from the match.
The win by the Jaguars which is made up of all local players, has to be seen as a plus for the side, considering the team only being picked recently with no match practice when compared to Dominica which has had regularly action since the start of the year.
