[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Guyana Horse Racing Authority (GHRA) has relocated its general meeting from the Bush Lot United Turf Club to the Rising Sun Turf Club (RSTC).
The reason for the switch was not made mention of but the event will remain at the same time tomorrow at 10:30.
Among the things to be discussed are the remaining racing meets for the year, reviewing completed events, registration and affiliation of the various clubs, classification and reclassification of horse, jockeys, trainers and horse owners association and payments.
Meanwhile, iNews has been informed that the forum will also be used as a mulling ground for changes in the proposed horse racing legislation and the tightening of screws relating to the document
President of the body, retired Chancellor Justice Cecil Kennard, will chair the meeting.
The meeting is expected to be attended by representatives of all the horse racing clubs in Guyana, the major stables and horse owners.
