[www.inewsguyana.com] – The National School Championships will be contested at the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) ground, Base Camp Ayanganna.
The move had to be made due to the National Stadium being booked for regional cricket during the month of November.
While the news was not confirmed from the Teacher’s Union or the Ministry of Education, multiple sources familiar with the situation confirmed the army ground has been booked for the event which is set to run off from November 17-21.
Organisers of School Nationals have been a bit slow with releasing information about the event due to a number of issues surrounding hosting the event this year, the venue being the biggest.
