A 37-year-old fruit vendor was earlier this morning arrested by police after he was found to be in possession of 13 pounds of cannabis.
Fitzroy Gibson of Lot 3233 North Ruimveldt, Georgetown was arrested by police ranks who acted on information. They reportedly swooped down at the house and conducted a search during which the discovery was made.
<<<Inews>>> understands that several parcels of the illegal drugs was found hidden in a microwave while another set was discovered buried in the backyard. Gibson is presently being processed for Court.
