[www.inewsguyana.com] _ At about 23:00 hours last night (Saturday June 07), Anthony Johnson, 34 years, of Friendship, East Bank Demerara, was walking along a road in the Friendship Squatting Area when he was attacked by two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm.
During the incident Johnson was shot and injured to his right leg by the perpetrators who took away $7,000.00 and his wrist watch and escaped. He has been admitted to the GPHC.
Investigations are in progress.
