Herbert Josiah, 58, and his wife Denise Josiah, 57, were killed in the early morning accident at Friendship East Bank Demerara.
The couple were passengers in the car driven by Leon Tucker, who also died in the crash. Lovern Stoby, Tucker’s aunt who was also in the car, died.
The Josiahs had recently gotten married, though they have been together for several years and have several children together. They both worked at the Diamond Diagnostic Centre.
The accident has claimed the lives of 5 persons so far. Ronnel Barker, a presidential guard who was driving the police car, died. Police are continuing their investigations.
