[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Hydromet office has advised that the current adverse weather condition being experienced in Guyana will result in flooding/water accumulation in low lying and flood prone areas.
According to the Hydromet office, cloudy to overcast skies with moderate to heavy rain are currently been observed over regions 2 to 6, 7 and 10, other regions are currently observing cloudy skies with light to moderate showers.
Expected condition
Conditions over region 2 to 6, 7 and 10 are expected to continue for the next four hours, while regions 1, 8 and 9 can expect cloudy to overcast conditions with moderate to heavy rain.
Rainfall may measure an average between 10.0 mm to 45.0 mm over regions 2 to 6; elsewhere values are likely between 5.0 to 15.0 mm all in the next 12hrs. Highest expected over Regions 4, 5 and 6.
