The weather for today: Cloudy to overcast skies can be expected throughout Guyana with intermittent rain and scattered thunderstorms over Regions 2 to 7, 9 and 10. Other areas across Guyana can expect occasional to frequent light to moderate showers and possible thunderstorms.
Rainfall is expected between 45.0 mm to 70.0 mm. Highest over Region 3 to 5 and 9 Mostly calm becoming windy and gusty at times before and during showers.
Low Tide: 07:19 hours, height of 0.84 of a meter.
High Tide: 13:47 hours, height of 2.58 meters
Small craft operators, marine users and sea bathers are advised that slight to moderate seas is expected during this period.
Next period of above normal High Tide will begin as from tomorrow June 24, 2014.

Tuesday, cloudy to overcast skies can be expected with light to moderate showers over coastal areas and Region 7 during the morning periods becoming partly sunny into the afternoon. Heavy thundershowers are likely over Region 8.
Other areas across Guyana, occasional showers can be expected. Rainfall is expected between 25.0 to 40.0 mm over coastal areas and Region 7 and between 60.0 to 100.0 mm over Region 8.
