Four firemen are now in the hot seat following reports of two missing cellphones belonging to Police Traffic Chief Dion Moore.
INews understands that firefighters attached to the Mahaica Fire Station on the East Coast of Demerara were summoned to an early morning fire at the home of the Traffic Chief, who also lives on the East Coast of Demerara.
It is reported that the fire was handled efficiently, but Moore realised that his mobile phones could not be found after the ruckus was over.
He subsequently lodged a complaint with local authorities suspecting the firemen to have removed his iPhone and another phone.
Reports are that the Traffic Chief suspected the four firemen as making off with this phones as it was alleged that they were the only ‘strange’ persons in his home.
