[www.inewsguyana.com] – An American citizen was allegedly beaten with a baton by police at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA), after she displayed erratic behaviour, making her a flight risk.
Reports indicate that early Saturday morning (May 17), the woman began pelting persons in the check in area and as such; she was prevented from boarding the Caribbean Airlines Flight.
iNews understands that in addition to airport security, the police were called in to control the woman, when they used a baton on her. It is suspected that she was suffering from post – traumatic stress disorder.
