[www.inewsguyana.com] – Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 28 – year – old Shem ‘Otto’ Padmore who was reportedly stabbed to death on Thursday evening (March 05).
iNews understands that Padmore, a father of two of Kaneville, East Bank Demerara left home to purchase food but never returned.
It was hours later that the mother of his five month old son received a telephone call from the Diamond Diagnostic Centre informing her of his demise.
A police media release stated that Padmore, was taken to the Diagnostic Centre at about 22:00 hrs by two men who hurriedly left the medical facility in a motor vehicle.
He was pronounced dead on arrival and according to the police there is a suspected bullet injury to his back. However, Padmore’s relatives are upset that doctors at the hospital did not take the information of the persons who dropped him off there and are calling on the police to take statements from the doctors.
Relatives told iNews that they were informed by the doctors that the father of two died from internal bleeding and that he received stab wounds to the heart, kidney and his side.
