[www.inewsguyana.com] – Thirty – year – old, Ryan Felix was fined $60,000 after he pleaded guilty to a forgery charge before Magistrate Judy Latchman, at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
Felix, a Baker, pleaded guilty to the charge, which stated that on September 22, at the Central Immigration and Passport Office he applied for a passport with a birth certificate in the name of Rayon Thomas.
When questioned by Immigration Officers, it was then discovered that a passport had already been issue in the name of Rayon Thomas.
A default in paying the fine will result in 21 days imprisonment.
