[www.inewsguyana.com] – Kirk Adrian Clarke, a father of four, was granted bail to the tune of $50,000 on Tuesday, January 26 when he appeared before Magistrate Ann McLennan on two larceny charges.
Clarke pleaded not guilty to the offences, one of which alleged that between March 22 and July 22, 2012 at Georgetown he stole $88,000 from Gregory Fraser’s Republic Bank account.
It was further alleged that between January 14 and January 25, 2013 in Georgetown he stole $83,960 from Shawn Ramsay Fraser’s Republic Bank account.
Clarke was represented by Attorney-at-Law Adrian Thompson who said that he had an unblemished record. The Court heard that the matter concerns imports and sales at Ardyss International.
Police Prosecutor Denior Jones did not present facts to the Court. Bail was granted in the sum of $25,000 on each charge and Clarke will make his second court appearance on February 04.
