[www.inewsguyan.com] – A 24 – year – old father of three children of West Bury Housing Scheme, Essequibo Coast hung himself with a curtain at around 3:00 am this morning [Saturday, June 14].
According to his wife, Tomika Marks, she and her husband, Roberto Smith had an argument earlier Friday night but mended the matter later.
She said her husband left to go and talk with a friend nearby and she went to bed. The mother of the children told iNews that she awoke at 3:00 am and noticed her husband did not return.
Upon looking through the front window, she saw him hanging from a tree in their yard. Marks said she quickly rushed to the tree and let loose the curtain, after which she alerted the neighbours.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Hospital. The man leaves to mourn a 4 – year – old, 2 – year – old and a one – year – old. He was a carpenter.
