[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) will aim to use the newly acquired Fully Automated Time (FAT) system, before the month of September concludes.
According to the President of the AAG, Aubrey Hutson, the use of the equipment which was acquired by the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) will be determined on the date of the Courts Furniture Store 10k road set for this month as well.
“We want to use it at National Seniors and that will be the weekend before the Courts 10k, we had the 10k pegged for the 21st but I’m hearing Courts wants the 28th but when I confirm that, the weekend before we will host National Seniors which might just be the 21,” Huston related.
However, the date of the meet will be confirmed by Monday as Hutson anticipates a confirmation from Courts by that time.
Meanwhile, Hutson also hinted at the National Seniors will be held at the Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary as the FAT system will be on display for the first time.
