[www.inewsguyana.com] – A young father of Hampton Court, Essequibo Coast is battling for his life in the Suddie Hospital after consuming poison on Tuesday, October 29.
According to reports, 20 – year – old Chris Mahadeo – a father of one – drank a quantity of poisonous substance after quarreling with his wife.
Reports indicate that Mahadeo went to work in the interior with a mining company and upon his return, he and his wife got into a bitter dispute, after which he consumed the substance.
He is said to be in a critical condition at the Suddie Hospital. Only recently a 17 – year – old girl of New Road, Essequibo died almost instantly after consuming a large quantity of poisonous substance.
Then last week a 53 – year – old man of Zorg, also on the Essequibo Coast, drank a quantity of deadly poison after setting his wife and house on fire. [Rajendra Prabhulall]
