Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident which occurred about 21:25 hrs last night on Three Friends Public Road, Essequibo Coast. The accident resulted in the death of Chandi Dyal, 19 years, of “H” Lima, Essequibo Coast.
INews understands that the deceased who was the driver of motor car PTT 5016, was proceeding south of the aforementioned public road, at a fast rate, when he lost control and collided with a lamp-pole.
He was taken to the Suddie Hospital in an unconscious state and was receiving medical treatment, when he succumbed.
