Elderly man found hanging in shop

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Harold Madramotoo was found dead with a rope around his neck at a shop in Liliendaal, East Coast Demerara on Wednesday September 25.

The gruesome discovery was made by residents of the community around 15:00h. The dead man is said to be in his early 60s and has no fixed place of abode. Residents believe he committed suicide.

His nephew, Harold Madramotoo told iNews that he last saw him on Wednesday morning. Meanwhile, iNews was informed that the dead man is a well known petty thief in the community. [Akash Ramlackhan]
