Eight months jail for Security Guard who threatened to kill wife

[www.inewsguyana.com] – Wesley Tull, a security guard of Campbellville, Georgetown, was today sentenced to eight months imprisonment by Magistrate Geeta Chandan-Edmond for using threatening language towards his reputed wife.

Tull pleaded guilty to the offence, which occurred on December 23, 2013, against Subrina Naidoo.

The Police Prosecutor told the Court that the couple had a misunderstanding over the victim’s son stealing his money and as a result he threatened to chop everyone in the house. The complainant became fearful for her life and reported the matter to the police.

Tull is presently serving an eighteen months sentence on an assault charge, which he committed against the same woman.
