[www.inewsguyana.com] – Banks DIH under its Guinness brand launched the 2015 edition of the East Coast leg of their Guinness greatest of the streets futsal competition on Monday, March 16 at their Thirst Park headquarters.
Brand Manager of Guinness, Lee Baptiste noted the expectation of the East Coast leg is high as they aim to bring the highly successful tournament back to the Haslington tarmac.
In addition, Baptiste thanked their large fan support for their continued loyalty in making the tournament highly successful.
Director of the Petra Organisation, Troy Mendonca, who is responsible for organizing the event as well as mobilizing the teams, noted that their success comes from the fans enjoyment as well as the teams’ success.
The event is set to begin on Wednesday with the final slated for April 4 as 16 teams will vie for the top prize of $300,000.
Further, the tournament will be in a round-robin format with the top two teams from the four groups advancing to the quarterfinal. Action is set for 19:00h each playing night.
