An early morning fire at Wisroc, Wismar, Linden, today, has left a family of six homeless and counting their losses.
The fire reportedly broke out inside one of the bedrooms of the one-story concrete and wooden building which Dwayne Fraser shared with his wife and four children, shortly after midnight.
A clearly distraught Fraser told INews he was not at home at the time the fire started.
He said his wife and children were at home alone at the time and upon returning after midnight, he came face to face with the tragedy.
Fraser said at the time, however, only one of the rooms was on fire; and in minutes a huge portion of the building was engulfed in flames. He further indicated that he is unsure of how the fire began.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
