[www.inewsguyana.com] – Dynamic Airways says it is in the process of finalizing arrangements with a new ground handling company and it is expected that the scheduled Guyana/JFK flights will be back to normal by the end of the week.

Chief Executive Officer of Roraima Airways – the local company partnering with the US Airline – Captain Gerald Gouveia told iNews during an interview today that the airline will be operating out of Newark and Connecticut until the arrangements with the JFK Terminal are finalized.

Gouveia refuted claims that passengers who landed at the Bradley International Airport in the State of Connecticut yesterday were not informed of the situation. The passengers were taken on a three hour bus ride to the JFK Airport.

“They were all told of the change when they checked in,” Gouveia said.

“We were determined never to leave any of our passengers stranded,” he added.Dynamic

As a result of the bumpy start to Dynamic’s inaugural flight, Gouveia said that he is now looking at having flights depart from Newark to Guyana, in addition to operating out of the JFK Airport.

“What happened opened up my eyes, I see difficulties and opportunities.”

Last week Dynamic Airways revealed that it was denied clearance by airport authorities to operate out of JFK after some ‘technical difficulties’ arose.
