[www.inewsguyana.com] –A young driver is lucky to be alive after he jumped a major intersection on Middleton Street and Campbell Avenue, slamming into the side of another car.
iNews understands that the young man was heading east along Campbell Avenue while the other vehicle was heading north along Middleton Street.
The impact sent the vehicle driven by the careless young man on the side causing extensive damage.
He was trapped in the vehicle for a while before being rescued by persons who gathered at the scene and who later assisted in getting the vehicle back on its wheels.
The man was observed trying to deal with the accident in a an amicable manner with the other driver as he sought to clear the area before the police arrive. The vehicles bore number plates PLL 8682 and PFF 5406.
