The driver of a motorcar is believed to have died in an early morning accident in the vicinity of Better Hope, East Coast Demerara around 4:00 hrs this morning.
It is not clear what caused the accident but the vehicle ended up in a trench alongside the roadway. The driver was trapped inside and persons had to forcibly open the door to get the driver out. He was in an unconscious state at that time, and was subsequently transported to the Georgetown Public Hospital. INews will bring you more details as they become available.
