Among some of the other changes to regular drags was the demarcation of a new area of the South Dakota Racing Circuit for Drag Warz, which is originally known as the back stretch of the ‘small’ track with the event run in the easterly direction (backwards).
The committee deicide that this was to give the cars suitable run off area which allowed enough space for cars to safely reduce their speed and as such the strip was marked at 1000 ft.
Among the day’s sponsors were Banks DIH Limited, GT&T, NCN, HJTV, Kaylee’s Service Station, Ramchand’s Wrecker and Trophy Stall.
