Law enforcement officers in Suriname have issued a wanted bulletin for Bisoen Kevin, 22, for questioning in relation to the murder of Leelawattie Sookhoo and her daughter, Tisha Ahiram.
The man has gone into hiding following the discovery of the 37-year-old woman and her 10-year-old daughter’s bodies on Tuesday. It is believed the man might have absconded to Guyana after he committed the gruesome acts.
According to reports, Kevin and the now dead woman shared a rocky relationship up to the time of her demise. Only recently, he had accused her of being unfaithful.
Reports are the man became jealous after the woman’s former husband visited her recently. Based on information, the now dead woman was seen in the company of the murder suspect the night before the murder.
The Surinamese Police had issued the wanted bulletin after taking into consideration the circumstantial evidence at their disposal.
The woman and her daughter were on Tuesday last found dead in their apartment in the Nieuw Amsterdam, a village in District Commewijne, Suriname.
The duo hailed from Sparta Village, Essequibo Coast, Guyana.
