[www.inewsguyana.com] – Narsingh Deonarine played his way to another century in the second round game of the West Indies Cricket Board’s Professional Cricket League (PCL) Regional Four-day tournament that continued on Saturday.
Deonarine scored his hundred of 201 balls while Shivnarine Chanderpaul scored his 50 just after launch.
Deonarine fell for 123 while Chanderpaul followed on 62 which caused the Guyanese side to collapse dramatically from 243-3 after lunch to 291 all out.
Kenroy Peters was the culprit with the ball for the Windward Islands taking 5-36 to lead the bowling attack for the visitors.
At stumps on Saturday the Windward Islands ended the day’s play on 63-2 trailing by 228 runs.
Meanwhile, in the other game at Warner Park, the Leeward Islands are leading Trinidad and Tobago Red Force by 89 runs.
