[www.inewsguyana.com] – The Demerara Volleyball Federation has new blood coursing through its executive following elections over the weekend.
Seven new executives and four committee members were elected to serve the sport of volleyball in the demerara district for the next two years.
The new President is Jadeshwar Doolchand, his Deputy is Jarryd Douglas while Shontell Maloney will perform the role of secretary and Ryan Briglall, the treasurer.
Krystal Yan has been named the Assistant Secretary/Treasurer. Chaired by Vice President of the Guyana Volleyball Federation, John Flores the event was held over the weekend at Guyana Defence Force’s Coast Guard Base, Ruimveldt, Georgetown.
Tiana Bradley and Ronald Smith have been elected to serve as public relations officer and organizing secretary respectively.
The four committee members are Marlon Pearson, Satrohan Ramnarinre, Odile Broomes and Clarence Williams.
